Meghann Artes is an Emmy and Peabody Award-winning filmmaker, animator, and educator whose work spans live action, animation, commercial production, and hybrid storytelling. Her creative collaborations include Sesame Street, Warner Bros., Nickelodeon, Bix Pix, and NBC, among others, and her independent films have screened and received awards at festivals around the world.

Drawing inspiration from her small-town upbringing and her experiences living in New York, Los Angeles, and Chicago, Meghann blends handcrafted artistry with contemporary filmmaking techniques to create visually distinctive stories that balance imagination, humor, and heart.

Meghann holds an MFA in Animation from UCLA and serves as Associate Dean of Production and Professor at DePaul University's School of Cinematic Arts. She continues to create independent films, animation, and commercial work from her home base in Chicago.
